  Service was bad from the get go. It used to be that you were greeted as soon as you walk in the door... now you can't even get anyone to wait on you and when they finally decide who has to help you they agree that the food has gone to hell, too.
  Food was terrible. I used to love their chips and salsa. They are doing something different because I didn't even like it.
  My dates food, salmon and shrimp, which he chose after the hostess said "only the shrimp is good here" was mediocre at best. He dais he'd had better fish at the hospital cafeteria.
  The only thing that was good was the chocolate cake and ice cream. I would highly recommend that.
  However I don't think it's worth even walking through the door to get it.

  My wife and I had never been here before, but decided on coming in because of a gift card we'd received. We came in at around 9:30 and the greeter at the door was eager to seat us (Thank you). We didn't have to wait long before our waitress came to take our order (we ordered the 2 for $20 deal). She was kind and patient with us, and kept our glasses full and our table clean. The food is tasty at a reasonable price (see attached images). The problem with most bar and grills is the loud music and banging from the kitchen, however, we were able to sit back, relax, and enjoy our meal in peace and quiet. The self payment procedure is very convinient.
  
  I would recommend Applebee's to any friend.

  Great food and atmosphere. Televisions everywhere. Not a bad seat in the house. Great place to go get drinks after work
