  “A Gem in SLC”
  We dined at Bambara for dinner. The restaurant, located in the Hotel Monaco, has nice ambience. Our server was excellent. My husband had the corn bisque to start. It had the most wonderful corn flavor without being heavy.

  I will say that the attitude of the servers are great, but the food and service was a let down.
  
  Me and the wife ordered some take out and were there when our food was to be ready. We find a lady in there arguing with the server about how they had screwed up their order. After a considerable amount of time, the lady finally left and we were able to pick up our food. Upon driving back to our home we discovered Chili's left out one of our side dishes, so we had to turn about and pick it up. When we got home and started eating, we noticed that another one of the sides was missing. We decided not to go back and instead will call them later. However, between the lady being unsatisfied about her order, us missing our side dish and having to go back our food was luke warm and the ice cream melted. The desert was mediocre and honestly wasn't worth the trip.

  Horrible service. Didn't even ask if we wanted refills. Didn't ask if we wanted more chips. Was super slow getting our food out. Had to ask for ranch for my salad 4 times. Ordered guacamole and it had absolutely no flavor. It was just mashed up avocado pretty much. We live down the street but will probably not come to this location again. Really disappointed.
